Introduction:

Undead Live! is a MMORPG game, similar to Mafia Live! and other similar games

Health: It represents how many hit points you have. you lose them when you rampage other empires, no matter whether you win or lose. If your health gets too low, your character will automatically flee from battle, resulting in others being able to attack you further. Similarly, you won't have enough health to survive if you rampage others. (Recovers 1 point every 5 mins)

Blood: blood points are the points you need to do quests. Higher level quests need more blood points. (recovers 1 point every 5 mins)

Strength: Strength are the points required to rampage other empires. 1 point is needed for every attack. (Increasing 1 point cost 2 secrets while others cost 1)

Character's Attack: This will be a large factor in determining your attack strength when rampaging.

Character's Defense: This will be a large factor in determining if other empires' attack against you will succeed or fail.

Royalties: Income from the land you own every hour.

Which Species to choose?
There are 3 species in the game

Vampire: Vampires recover blood faster than other species. If you like doing quests to level up rapidly or gain rewards from the quests, this would be for you. Unless you have a high max blood score, you will likely have to manage your account on the ball all the time.

Werewolf: They regain strength faster than other species. If you like to level up through rampaging other empires and get rewards through it, this would be for you. Strength scores are often low in the game. For this, you will likely have to manage your account on the ball all the time.

Overlord: They gain their royalties much faster than other species, giving them a higher passive income. Thus if you don't often have time to manage your game on the go, this will help you generate more income.

Complexities of Defence and Attack:
This section will give you a brief guide if you will win or lose a rampage.

I believe, the fomular for calculating them is as such: (I am not certain of it. If you have another way of calculation, please share in the comments)

Total Attack Score:
Number of members in your court x Your Character's Attack score + The attack score of all the weapon used, the att score of all the armor used, the attack score of all the vehicles used.

Each member can only use up to 1 weapon, 1 armor and 1 vehicle and they will usually use the best option available.

Total Defense Score:
Number of members in your court x Your Character's Def score + The Def score of all the weapon used, the Def score of all the armor used, the Def score of all the vehicles used.

This will give you a good gauge if your rampage will succeed or if you will survive an attack from a specific enemy.

As you see, both the number of members, your attack & defense scores and the equipment used all come into play. The most important factor here is actually your total number of members. It is the limiter to the equipment you can use and it also multiplies with your members.

Conclusion:
Thus, it is possible for a member with high number of members and high number of weapons and armor to trash someone with low number of members despite a high defense score.

Similarly, if you have high number of members without supplying them with sufficient weapons and armor and vehicles, a player with lower number of members and having more weapons, armor and vehicles will be able to trash you

Each member can only use up to 1 weapon, 1 armor and 1 vehicle and they will usually use the best option available.

Weapons, Armor and Vehicles can be easily purchased. If you don't want to spend too much money on it, you can always buy the items that give you the lowest cost per att/def.
(e.g. Chest Plates, Death Hooks, Wagons) Some items have upkeep, which will make them expensive to possess in the long run, unless you have a sustainable flow of royalties.

How to optimise your Stats?

You get 5 secret points to assign to Strength, Blood, Health, Attack, Defense. All your stats also recharge with a level up.

The combination of Str, Blood, Health, Att, Def depends on how you want to play your character.
Below are a few type of common builds in the game that is used.

The Slacker
If you do not have time to manage your account often, you will need a high blood score. A blood score of 40 will give you about a lag time of almost 4 hours before you need to check it again. Each point grants you additional 5 mins. So if you only check the account once per night, then you need about 100 points or more.

This will enable you to have a good income by doing quests. As your att and def will be very low, always bank your earnings in the gold vault. It will cost you dearly if you don't. You will also level up decently fast doing quests and have a good amount of money. Yes, you will have a lot of people trying to attack you but you will be able to play the game decently, as long as you don't mind the common raids.

You won't really need lands, unless it is for more passive income, or for upkeep of your weapons, armor and vehicles.

You won't need many members also, just a small number comfortable enough to do the bigger quests (about 15 to 30) should be good enough.

More Active Builds: (you will get a web account by level 15)

The Defender
You will need a high Def. This helps to reduce chances of attacks on you succeeding. You also need high number of members and plenty of equipment for them. Similarly, you will earn most of your income through quests and from failed attempts to rampage you.

You can combine with a moderate blood score for easier managing of your account to do more quests.

The Aggressor
You will need high number of members and pad them full of expensive armor, weapons and vehicles. A high strength score will allow you to rampage more frequently.

Rampaging can get you good income as well, as long as you can pick the right targets. Every rampage also nets you 2 exp. It is possible to earn lots of gold by rampaging. Easily 10k to 80k at level 15 and 220l to 1mil ny bevel 30. The rewards also go up as you level up.

Conclusion:
After seeing these builds, you should know more or less how you want to assign your secrets. You can pick a balanced type also, with moderate blood, att and def. The key is always tons of members and equipping them. If you don't have time to manage often or many members to invite, high blood seems to be the best way out.

How to select a fat sheep for Rampaging?
1) The target should have plenty of lands to generate passive income.
2) The target should have a lesser total defense score than you to have a good chance of success
3) The target should be reasonably strong so that it wasn't rampaged often. If its already rampaged often, there's not much left for you to take...

That means the target should have lots of land, moderate amount of equipment and moderate number of members. Give it a little trial and error and you will get it.

If your character is real strong, try the strong empires... they have lots of money

Revenge:
If you want to seek revenge from being rampaged, you can put a bounty with the slayers. The best players will gather to slay those put up. However, do consider again if its worth the cost since a bounty isn't cheap. But often revenge is sweet or it might be the only way to deal with persistent attackers much more powerful than you. It can seriously cripple them for about a few hours to a day.

Rules of good gameplay and courtesy (Ethics)
As with all such games, please have good gaming spirit. Rampaging is part of the game and it is fair play to attack or be attacked.

The fair rules for these games that I have played before, across facebook and now on iphone are as follows.

-1 attack on a player is fair play
-2 attacks in a row is still reasonable
-3 attacks in a row may be the max you can push before you start pissing the other player off, especially if he is having huge losses.

Its also fair play to retailate once for each time you are attacked.

I once had a player that attacked me 14 times in a row non-stop in an hour when i was level 16. Attacks continued the next evening. It displays poor gamemanship and immaturity of the player, trying to spoil the other's game and abusing the other player. Remember that we are all playing to enjoy the game!

It is such players that spoil the game and will piss off players. Such players should be put up on the Slayers list for some punishment.

How to get members?
It is quite easy to get members to join your court.

1) Invite friends to play the game and add their codes. Send invites via emails or smses
2) Buy crowns (available at level 15 and you need a pay pal account) to get dark soldiers
3) Just google it...

Here are some links for codes. All you have to do is to add them in the bloodline page.
There is a max of 50 invites a day. This will help you increase the number of members.

  1. This is probably a naive question, but I gotta ask sometime... if each member can only take 1 weapon, 1 armor, 1 vehicle, then why do people have 100+ of each weapon? If I have 100 enchanted rams, for instance, can I bring all 100 to battle, or only 1 of them? Wouldn't you just only buy the best weapon, and save upkeep on all the rest? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  2. When they say that each member can only take one weapon, one armor and one vehicle, they're talking about your "court". If you have, say 200 people in your court, then you should have 200 weapons, etc. An unarmed and unarmored member of your court doesn't do as much for you in combat.

That being said, you are only able to take into battle ten times your level of people. In other words, if you have 200 people in your court, but you're only level 16, then you'll only be taking 160 people into battle with you, and you only need 160 weapons, 160 armor, and 160 vehicles.

People (like me) purchase more, because we anticipate more people joining our court and want to have the gear waiting for them. ;)

  3. RE: Ethics...

You have got to be kidding me. The game is a Force on Force game. To suggest that attacking someone more than 2x is bad form is actually just bad game-play. This is a war game not a sit in a circle and lets all have fun singing kumbaya game... at least to me. The only rule I've followed is to not attack members of my species unless they have attacked me. I want to maximize the number of friendlies in my court.

  4. I've run countless combat statistics to come up with a model.

    This is wrong.

Defense is weighed heavier than you suggest and coven total less.

    at lv 12 I have
    atk 3
120 member (i have more but these are all that count)
1482 (in attack that counts for my 120 limit)

    Defender
    lv 12
    def 19
    44 members
    870 item defense

Under your model it is my 1842 versus his 1706; but, he won.

I even increased my atk to 1560 to attain data, and he won even again with my 1920.

  5. At leve 23 I have
    attack 1
    defense 100
    988 members
    1000 blades
    1000 enchanted ram
    1000 revolver
    1000 musket

    290M royalties per 60 mins
    1500 battles on
    18 battles lost

I'm just sitting around and collecting money.
Add me if you want a strong vampire in your coven.
